Wassup people

Welcome to the third issue of abesha.com.  The third time is always the charm, and for those of you who emailed us with your concerns over the missing December issue, our sincerest apologies.  The explanations for our tardiness are numerous, the time I have between now and my next class, short…so if it's cool, I'll hold off on the excuses for a whole other article.

Note:  we at abesha.com always have QUALITY (and valid) excuses.

FOR THIS ISSUE, abesha.com has made the bona fide effort to stack up…kinda like the International House of Pancakes, if you dig.  We have the man whose clothes are soon to permeate the urban gear market, AK of the ARIF WEAR, Inc fame.  We have an article on Ethiopianism, the reason why Rastafarianism exists.  We even have free raffle trips to the island of Barbados.  Ha ha, yeah right… But really, we do have contributions from our regular obnoxious contributors:

1)     The Profit, as he endeavors to do battle with the evils of nationalism.

2)     My attempt to preach on the beauty of economics (SPEECHISM to live by, not sleep on) and lastly…

3)     mikeONE's monthly literary surprise for us all (because it is always literally, a surprise for EVERYONE concerned at abesha.com).  Straight coming from the man who is not afraid to stare a deadline in the face and dare it to approach; teeth bared, pistols blazing…

Also, a BIG abesha.com WELCOME to Eritria P. and Azage, two truly brave souls who have risked their sanity and their souls to join the abesha.com fray.  Check out introductions to their lives, their hearts, their minds, their identity…And to flip the script (no pun intended), we have Aman McHugh, relating the story of his year of service on the beautiful island of Madagascar; KIMO with short snippets on the small things you need to know in life; and Girmame Yezeraw with a report on how we habeshas be doin' it in the NY.

Of course, we couldn't do you dirty and leave out the notorious abesha.com IN YOUR AREA.   It just wouldn't be humane. As always, this was speech (the world's humanitarian).

PS.  an abesha.com shout out goes out to the emcees at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Eritrean_Rappers/messages .  Lyrical rhyme-sayers that blow your mind like wha…check them out.  peace…
